Quickly switch between calibrations, without having to open them from a dialog

Yeah, a user configurable global shortcut for next / previous profile would be awesome.

Like for example pressing ctrl+alt+shift+Down would jump to the next profile no matter if the application is focused or not.

I profiled 2 different speakers and wanted to A/B them, but each time it was tedious to switch between them and then switch the profiles with mouse.

    Hi Dobány,

    Thanks for the request, noted!

We will be adding MIDI mapping support, so that's a start and will give you options to use a MIDI controller assigned functions. We have also added a new feature for the SW icon (on both Mac and Windows): Alt + left mouse click on the SW icon to enable/disable the correction! You can expect more in-app shortcuts and other functions too.

Global functions, however, are a lot more tricky (without the main IU window open). They overlap with operating system functions and other app functions - it's a lot more difficult to implement without the function messing up something else - any other app could be using that specific key combination shortcut. We'll look into that too, but there's nothing coming in the near future regarding global commands. Many thanks!

Yeah i understand that, but i think it's the user's responsibility to assign proper shortcuts.

You should place a warning message "do it on your own risk" if you enable global shortcut, or something.

    Anyway MIDI sounds interesting too.

    Hi Kārlis Stenders,

I find the current workflow really tedious both in logic + plugin (no warning and having to disable plugin for every export) and systemwide (missing key commands).

I am attempting to and was wish I could automate it with key commands to save having to click three applications.

Perhaps .midi might be a possible solution. Any updates on the above features?

    Hi Sylvester!

Definitely, we're on the same page here! In fact, we have been developing new features with exactly this issue in mind!

The functionality you're looking for is already implemented in the Systemwide app - the new user presets in the latest v4.4 release will allow you to do exactly what you're looking for - switching between different calibration profiles, output devices/channels, and all DSP settings - all with a single click! Read more here

Also, the coming 4.4.2 update will have MIDI mapping for a few essential functions too (including switching between presets), so we have been working hard to make this all come together.

The plugin, however, will take longer to catch up, but eventually, it will also feature a lot of design and functionality that can already be found in Systemwide. If you are not using the plugin exclusively, you might want to try Systemwide as your DAW output instead - that will also completely eliminate the render-bypass and Safe Headroom leveling issues. Since the calibration is done outside of DAW there is no reason to ever disable or bypass correction at all.

It would be great to hear your feedback on this, many thanks!
