Reference 3 user upgrading to 4 on a new Mac

Just read some of the support pages in the knowledge base. Seems to me that I need you to transfer my license ******-******-******-****** to this computer so I can use my upgrade key I just purchased ******* to activate my Reference 4 to my new Mac computer. These details should have been disclosed at time of upgrade/purchase. I am extremely disappointed in the time it will take to get this issue resolved for me. I just wasted countless hours and still have a product I spent hundreds of dollars on not functional. The payment for the upgrade was removed in minutes.

Hi Robert,

Our apologies for any confusion. You don't need to transfer your license to complete the upgrade. Go to the upgrade page here and simply enter your e-mail address, the original activation key and the upgrade code. You will then receive your new Reference 4 activation key.

These upgrade steps are written down in the e-mail you received the upgrade code in, did you not get that e-mail? If so, please let me know as there might be a mailing issue for us to deal with.
