Since updating today to the newest version, every time to computer wake up from sleep, there is a cracke or white noise in the speakers or headphones

Same issue here on my 2018 Macbook Pro. My audio interface is a UAD Apollo x4. Every time the audio source changes in Reference 4 Systemwide, there is a loud crackle / white noise that lasts for about half a second. This only started happening when I upgraded to 4.4.7 (Build 38). Rebooting everything doesn't solve the issue.

Same here too. Rips your darn face off!! For me, it seems to be every time Reference starts up—plugin instantiation opening a session in Pro Tools, restarting the Systemwide app after restarting the computer or waking from sleep—and no matter the hardware choice. I too have a UAD interface, but it also makes the noise through the internal speakers when nothing is plugged into the computer at all or when connected to my control room beep track to listen to iTunes, etc...

Beta Update fixed it for me afaic:
Karl here from the Sonarworks support team! Sending a ground message to 33 users who reported the loud robotic noise burst when launching the Systemwide app!
The issue has been fixed by our development team and is available in the latest 4.4.7.40 Beta version. Please download and install the new Beta version to solve the problem, see detailed Beta install instructions here: Beta software releases -
I've had the same white noise issue, nearly blew my eardrums twice: once when I opened up Systemwide, and once when I turned on the plugin in my DAW. Both times I had my headphones on, was totally unprepared. This kind of stuff can cause some serious tinnitus or ear damage, I can't believe that this is something they missed on their last update and released it to the public.
However, Micha, thank you for sharing that Beta update. I'll still be very weary when opening up Sonarworks from now on. Lesson learned.
