    Hi Rory, 

     

    No, in fact, you don't even need to disable the Systemwide app while working with the Reference plugin in DAW. That is unless you have specifically set Systemwide as your output in DAW (which is possible too, instead of working with the plugin).

     

    In other words, if you are working with the Reference plugin in DAW and your DAW audio output is set to your audio interface (as you would normally), your DAW signal is going straight to the interface and bypassing Systmtwide altogether. In that case, Systemwide can still be running in the background for all other audio. 

     

    So to clarify, for DAW (and any other advanced audio playback/production software that has its own dedicated audio output settings), Systemwide will NOT automatically calibrate that signal, unless you have assigned Systmwide as output in the given app settings. Systemwide will only apply automatically to the apps that are connected to the operating system audio engine (and any app that has been configured to be output via the system audio engine).
