I am finding that Systemwide does not work after logging into the computer with Remote Desktop. I see the program pop up and say it has detected something and it seems to handle it automatically but when I log back into the computer locally there is no audio.
The computer is Windows 10, all updates. This computer is the RDP Host. After I've connected to it with RDP, then log in locally and try to play an audio file with Windows Media Player, the program loads but does not play. There are no errors displayed. Systemwide is running. The icon is in the tray.
I changed the default output (in control panel - Sound) to the audio card (in this case it's the onboard Realtek audio) and it works.
I tried killing the process and running Systemwide again but that made no difference.
After reboot it is fine.
