Is the online demo a good example?

I tried the online demo https://www.sonarworks.com/reference/demo-player

and the difference between correction enabled/disabled is simply astonishing. I expected to hear a noticeable change, but its actually HUGE!

So I inmediately downloaded and installed the trial version. Now, running locally with my own mix or with commercial music, the difference between enabled and disabled is way more subtle than the online demo. Perfectly noticeable, but subtle. Definitively not the jawdropping change I saw in the demo.

My doubt is: Are those three music files (Rock/Pop/Electronic) in the online demo specially mastered to maximize the correction effect or something? Or am I doing something wrong?

The tracks you are referring to were chosen to efficiently demonstrate the effect of the software on the playback. If you wish, you can trial the software for free here. It will allow you to test the performance of the calibration on your preferred tracks and projects!
