    Hi John and everyone else, 

    The truth is that we like the simulations too. But as stated earlier, it's impossible for us to keep it in the current version for legal reasons. We will be trying to bring it back in the future. 

    I should mention though that the SR standard and flat response is still our flagship feature; and to all those holding back from the 4.1 update, we highly recommend reconsidering and giving the new 4.1 Measure a shot, as you will be truly surprised about how significant the increase in accuracy is. Even the simulations are based on having a flat response to simulate on top of, so having the best available measurement precision is essential!

    Hi Eric, thank you for voicing your concerns!

    Unfortunately, we've been forced to remove the simulation feature of our product for legal reasons. We are aware that there are companies out there that still manage to use simulations in their products, but considering our long-term goal of collaborating with manufacturers and other companies, we’ve had to drop them for the time being.

    That being said, we are looking for a way to bring them back as we see the value in having the means to simulate different playback systems. Our apologies for the inconvenience!

    Should you wish to still use the simulation part, you can revert back to using previous Reference 4 versions of plugin and Systemwide while keeping the new Measure module. Download can be found here: https://www.sonarworks.com/downloads

    Noo, this was very important reason I had Reference plugins installed. Please, bring simulation back quickly before lose your customers!

    I agree with Zipidude. The main reason I have chosen to purchase Sonarworks is the simulation function.

    I'm very disappointed about this.
