Hey guys, thank you for your feedback!

Could you check what version of Windows 10 were your systems updated to? This article should help you find that information:

Hi Guys, yes I was able to sort it by using the guide to remove a hidden file in the sonarworks user settings.

Yes, SW Systemwide would no longer launch after the latest updates of both SW & Windows 10. My OS version is Win 10 2004. I submitted a support ticket but haven't heard back from anyone yet. In the meantime, I reverted SW to the previous Version 4.4.5.51 and it now launches as before.

Hopefully, they will find out what the interoperability issue is with the November cumulative update to Win 10 before long.

What do you have to do to fix it?

It seems that there was a bug in the 4.4.5.51 iteration of Reference 4 that inhibited proper launch on some Windows 10 systems. This should be fixed with the 4.4.6.20 update!

    Hi Ian,

If you are running a Windows machine, an additional new issue in 4.4.6.20 was discovered - it has been fixed with our latest 4.4.7.34 Beta update, which should resolve the problem. Can you try the new Beta, please? See install instructions here: Beta software releases

I'm having the same issue since a few days. Systemwide won't start anymore under Windows 10.

I also tried the latest beta 4.4.7.34 - no difference...

    Hi Eugene,

Are you absolutely sure you have 4.4.7.34 successfully installed? Can you double-check for me, please (click on the Sonarworks logo in the software - this will open the license information window; the installed version is visible there)? Also, there could be the additional problem of failed settings migration in the .db config file, see here: Reference 4 Systemwide doesn't launch after update

If that doesn't do the trick, we'll create a support ticket and have a closer look. Thank you!

    Hi Karlis,

yes, it's the mentioned version. When I start Systemwide I can see the loading screen for a short while. I was able to create a screenshot. It's attached.
I also deleted the Systemwidecfg.db - made no difference.

If you need more information, I'm happy to help!
Fortunately I can still use Sonarworks as plugin in Cubase, that's my main UseCase :)

    Best,
    Eugen
