New Sonarworks buyer here, I've seen some calls for this feature and thought I should add my comments as well as I'm having problems with the current implementation.
I'm working on a pair of PMC MB2 monitors.
Sonarworks correction on the low end of the spectrum is spot on.
On the other hand it's trying to boost a whopping 10db at 16kHz.
This obviously doesn't sound good, makes it really hard to mix on, and is probably flat out wrong from a calibration standpoint (I understand it's working towards some ideal pink noise curve, but that doesn't work on the top end of the spectrum.) This is with the "Neutral" HF limit setting.
My PMCs don't sound dark to begin with, and my measurements are totally flat from 3kHz to around 12kHz where the HF "correction" starts to kick in.
Finer control over correction limits is urgently needed, especially on the high end of the spectrum. A simple control to set a specific frequency limit above which no correction is applied would be ideal. Looking at my measurement curves for my specific case, I would need to turn off any correction above 10kHz.
There is a post on this forum from February 2019 acknowledging that you're looking into it. Could you please provide a roadmap for implementation?
