I know the reasoning for removing the headphone/speaker emulation feature was potential legal issues and you had to keep manufacturer relationships in mind, however, what do you think about adding the feature to emulate other speakers you already own and have been measured? For example, I sidegraded from JBL monitors to Adam today and I was wondering if I could emulate what my previous ones sounded like through my new ones, IE make my Adams sound like the "before" measurement of my JBLs - ie to just show the house sound and room coloration of another pair of monitors. If it's still an issue of legal or manufacturer relationship, you could bake into the emulate option the license key or link it to the online account, so you cannot share measurements online.
I bring this up because I was able to get what looked and sounded like a pretty damn flat measurement from about 1KHZ and up with my JBLs, really level matched too. My Adams, however, are not having that yet and it's pretty damn obvious where the crossover crater lies, but I haven't set them up perfectly yet. Quick little image of that:
I know it wouldn't be used, but it would be a quick way to compare the general tonalities of your different speakers you own and the room influence, versus unhooking everything to hear how it sounds.
