Systemwide selects wrong audio device on startup

    Thanks for reporting this! We've noted the issue and we've also discussed possible ways to deal with this, like having an option to select a preferred output device to which Systemwide would automatically switch, should it be found after the Systemwide has started. Would you think that it would solve the issue and be more user friendly?

    Yes, sounds like a solution. I know this from other software like firefox and thunderbird, where there is a checkbox called "check if thunderbird is the main email-client in windows on program startup". If not, the programm changes the settings and everything is fine then. Thanks for your fast reply!

    I have the same problem. I shutdown the computer with my Systemwide preferred audio device working fine. When I start up, systemwide switches to my crappy usb headset that I only use for video calls. Systemwide should remember the selected device through restart. If not, some kind of additional option to indicate devices to never use.
