UA x16 and x8p cascade

Hello - I'm new to this board.

It seems that a cascaded UA Device isn't recognized in its fully featureset.

I'm using a x16 and x8p (…and twin…) in my setup. I have the x16 set up as my first device (since I need all outputs for ATMOS) but I would love to use the headphone correction also, which is only available if I switch to be my x8p first in the chain. But this messes with my apollo Outputs for Atmos…

CCould you intergrate the whole cascaded interface with all features?

Thanks for posting Maximilian Becker

I'm afraid this won't be possible. If there are several Apollo devices connected (directly, or cascaded), UAD Console allows for a single Integration Mode instance only. The device that has been assigned as the “Primary” in Console will be the one where the integrated outputs can be used.

Ok I guess I have to write the uad support than :)

architecture-wise I get, that only the unit that is in charge of handling the eq curves, uses its own dsp. But since both interfaces having 6 dsps, they should offer such a feature to the customer…
Thank you

Does this mean that the speakers and the microphone must be all run from the “primary” unit?  So you can't use the AES on the Apollo x16 and use the Microphone Pre's on the x8p for measurements?

You can use the x8p as a second device with its cascaded inputs for the measurement mic.

That works.

But on the output management you cannot use the outputs of the secondary unit, either the AES Output on the x16 unfortunately.

The sound id implementation is only on the monitor outs available (for stereo)

So a friend of mine had some mogami XLR cables and I ran my speakers though the monitor output on my Apollo x16.  I get the same results:'

I tried changing my mic channels, changing the sample rate to 44.1 KHz.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled too many times to think of.  It sees the mic no problem in the beginning, then after that I get this.

What is weird is I never had a problem with calibration before.  I have not used the software in 6 months (didn't like the workflow).  But never had a problem calibrating even with digital inputs.

Well I don't have time to be Sonarworks troubleshooting team so I am going to ask for my money back on the Apollo integration.
