Auto OFF in render

  I think that is a feature that should be implemented by the DAW.  Reaper have Monitor FXs that are plugins in the Master Buss that are never rendered.

  Most DAW have some sort of Monitor Control section as on the mixing desks where you could have variety of processors and gauges without affecting the printed/exported/rendered material. In Cubase/Nuendo it is called Control Room.

  I use Ableton Live and I added Reference on the master out of the default project with the on/off button of the plugin assigned to R on my keyboard. Surely you can find a work around like that if you use another daw, good luck :)
