Not changing sampling rate from Qobuz.

I'm try to listen to music using Qobuz->SoundID->Focusrite Clarett+. When I play just Qobuz->Focusrite I can see the sample rate change in the "Focusrite Control" GUI. When I insert SoundID it no longer controls the sample rate. I am changing the interface in Qobuz to Focusrite ASIO driver and the SoundID driver. I've tried different combinations of drivers in SoundID, but no luck. Any suggestions?

Steve Terwilliger looks like this post was missed and never got any answers - our apologies for that!

Yes, there is a potential issue with source-adaptive sample rate changes when SoundID Reference is introduced in the chain - since there is an additional audio device in the chain between the playback app and output device (the SoundID Reference standalone app driver), it might break the adaptive sample rate communication between the two.

Generally speaking, SoundID Reference app will adapt the sample of the output device (although this behavior depends on the driver mode used - learn more here: [WIN] Audio driver types in the standalone app, so the solution is this: set your output device to a higher sample rate. Basically, you'll want to set the sample rate to the highest sample rate value of your audio source files. That way, the higher sample rate files will be played in the correct setting, while the lower sample rate files will be upsampled without any quality loss.

Alternatively, some advanced playback apps (such as Audirvana and others) have the capability of hosting plugins. If your playback app supports this, you can load the SoundID Reference plugin format (instead of using the standalone app for output), which will avoid the issue altogether: Setting up with the DAW plugin
