When I open "Systemwide settings" window I see a message at the bottom of the window that has text written in red that states "Please select output device to enable correction!"
Output device: Is empty
When I click on the drop-down arrow I have one choice labeled "Speakers (High Definition Audio Device)" When I click on "Speakers (High Definition Audio Device)" to attempt to select it, it disappears and a new window opens that has a red triangle with an exclamation point in its center. It has the caption "Audio error!" just below the red triangle and the error message "Systemwide driver not initialized!" Just below the "Audio error" message.
The other two boxes that are labeled:
"Active output channels:" and "Audio buffer size:" are both empty and have no choices available to select.
