    Hey,

Thanks for bringing this up. Unfortunately, this is a know issue, one we're trying to solve. This is caused by installer not being able to properly place the required files on your hard drive. Here are a few steps that might help:

    1. Uninstall Systemwide
    2. Go to your Device manager and make sure that there are no Sonarworks virtual audio device there. Also, check, if there are any drivers that are not recognized properly. If you find anything Sonarworks related, delete it from the Device manager
    3. Open command prompt (win+r, type cmd) and run following function, without quotation marks "pnputil -e" This will list all the driver components installed on your system. In this list, you'll need to search for a component who's signer is Sonarworks. If you manage to find it, it has an oem ID. Take this ID and run following function "pnputil -d oemID.inf"

    4. Restart your computer

    5. Reinstall Systemwide

Just purchased the Headphone Plugin Upgrade from Version 3 only because of the systemwide feature.

I´m having exactly the same problem "Audio Error - Systemwide driver not initialized! on my windows 10 Machine.

Did the steps as described but stuck on the step "search for a component who's signer is Sonarworks".
How can the system find possibly a "component who's signer is Sonarworks" after deleting the not working device from the Device Manager or when the driver itself isn´t even installed properly in the first place?

I think Sonarworks could have already fixed that Problem after it´s know for about 7 Months now.

    Is there any solution yet?

    Ok. I fixed this.

i simply downloaded the legacy version of Reference 4.0.115.0 which contains the Driver Package for the Audio Device and reinstalled the current Version 4.1.

    It´s working now.
