New update complaint

Just want to rant. I miss the old way to make custom EQ curves. So much easier to make changes without having to "save as a new preset" every time I make changes. If i wanted to keep my old EQ before changes, I would just "make a copy" and now that feature is gone. Whhhhyyy? Why mess with such a good thing!

I like to toggle back and forth to hear the changes I make, but this causes so much extra steps if I have constantly save my new changes before toggling back to an old EQ just to hear a difference. Not to mention, I cant overwrite the same file name. Just ends up changing back, not saving my progress.

Please for all that is good, go back to the old custom EQ curve settings. This new setup is so frustrating

Hi Mason,

Thanks for your feedback on this in SoundID Reference! We have made some updates to the preset saving mechanism and it now allows to share the presets between the standalone app and the plugins, as well as share it with your friends and colleagues or move the preset to another device. With that said, we are looking into how we could improve this feature even further to make it a smoother experience for users.
