If the Measure app is crashing upon launching the app or during the measurement process, there are multiple potential causes for this and we'll describe here how to deal with the most common cases.
Workarounds
- Sample rate mismatch. There may be a discrepancy between sample rates set on your interface, OS and Measure app. This may cause the software to crash. Make sure they match. Starting with SoundID Reference version 5.3 various sample rates are supported: SoundID Reference Measure supported sample rate.
- Performing a reinstall.

Windows
- Unused ASIO drivers. We can recommend using SoundID Reference Measure (WASAPI Mode) to measure the speakers or test application performance. The application can be found in:
Start > All Apps > Sonarworks > SoundID Reference Measure (WASAPI Mode)
We recommend Blacklisting ASIO drivers in the SoundID Reference Measure app In case this helped, it would be helpful if you could share your blacklist file with us.
