License activation keys
A license activation key is a 24-character key, and it is easily recognized in this format and is different from a license upgrade code key:
After completing a software product purchase in the Sonarworks Store, the license activation keys will be delivered to the email address you provided in the order details. For physical products from third-party sellers, often the key can be provided in the box physically.
How to find your activation key
If you are unable to find your activation key within the inbox, you should be able to locate it by searching for keywords such as 'Sonarworks licenses', 'Sonarworks order', and 'Sonarworks Store' in your email history. Sometimes this delivery email can be put into the Spam folder so it would be worth checking.
If you haven't received your activation key within 5 minutes after completing the purchase in the Sonarworks Store, or if you're unable to find it, contact our support team by submitting a request.
IMPORTANT! If you have acquired your license from a third-party seller, contact the seller for license details.

Important! If a single purchase contains numerous product keys, all of them will be provided within a single email. Please make sure that all of them have been registered.

Registering your activation key
To activate your Sonarworks product license, you must first register the activation key in your Sonarworks Account. If you haven't yet created an account yet, sign up here.
IMPORTANT! Having purchased and activated Reference 3 or Reference 4 products in the past does NOT create a user account or register your key automatically.
If you're trying to log in and your email address is not recognized, you haven't created a user account yet. Similarly, if the user account is present but there are no licenses in it, you haven't registered your license activation key yet. In this case, the articles below will guide you through the process:
Trialing the software
