If you wish to uninstall Sonarworks software, you can do it by dragging files/applications to the Trash in the Dock (or select the file and use the keyboard shortcut Command-Delete) from these locations:
/Macintosh HD/Applications/Reference 4 Systemwide
/Macintosh HD/Applications/Reference 4 Measure
/Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components -> Sonarworks Reference 4 plugin.component
/Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/Sonarworks Reference 4 plugin.aaxplugin
/Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Sonarworks Reference 4 plugin.vst
- Calibration profiles are stored in:
/Macintosh HD/Users/Username/Library/Sonarworks/Reference 4/Sonarworks Projects
- Settings files, logs, and other data are stored in the User Library's Sonarworks folder:
Please note that the User Library folder by default is a hidden folder, please press Command-Shift-. (dot) to make it visible for the user.
If after uninstall process you still see Systemwide in the list of audio devices:
First, try to unload the kext file from your Terminal app:
sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/Sonarworks.kext
Then, remove the kext folder so doesn’t autoload on next boot:
sudo rm -r /System/Library/Extensions/Sonarworks.kext
