How to upgrade a Sonarworks license

Sonarworks product licenses can be upgraded to newer or higher-tier versions with a straightforward process via your Sonarworks User Account. Follow this guide for upgrade instructions.

Sonarworks license upgrade

Sonarworks software product licenses can be upgraded to newer or higher-tier versions with a simple process in the user account system. To upgrade a license, you will need a license upgrade code. License upgrade products can be purchased in Sonarworks Store, or from third-party sellers. 

1. Log into your Sonarworks Account
2. Register your existing Sonarworks license key which you are looking to upgrade via the 'Register a new license' button
3. Find your registered key and click on the 'Upgrade license' button under your existing product license
4. Enter your license upgrade code and press the Upgrade button to confirm

After executing these steps, the new upgraded license will become available in your account, and further instructions for downloading, instilling, and activating will be shown.

NOTE! If the 'Upgrade license' button is missing, this license has already been used for an upgrade.

Compatible upgrade paths

The 'Upgrade license' view also offers a quick look at the compatible upgrade paths. Depending on the software license(s) you have registered, a list of compatible upgrades will be shown with direct links to the Sonarworks Store products.
